Post competition update and shoot with Chaz photo!!

Hey honeys!!

What a CRAZY day it was yesterday, biggest show in NPC national history – 524 competitors!!! Sooooo many girls in the bikini division and especially in my class and the one before, which resulted in them cutting our carefully practiced routines to only one front pose!!! Nervousness deluxe!! As a novice I had put sooo much faith in the routine, now I didn’t have much chance to make a statement except for my look and overall stage presence – well, nerves got me quite a bit with this last minute shocker (even during the prejudging the place was sold out!!), but the biggest downfall was that a got hidden by an aggressive competitor in the line-up so the judges couldn’t see me or even my number. This means they literally just cross you out from any chance to place top 5….anyway, next time I’ll be a shark too!! 🙂 Learned soooo much and did great in the finals (which doesn’t affect the results, but at least the judges remember you for next time) which felt awesome. Now it’s all about getting stage habit and gain confidence, with so much competition it doesn’t matter if you look stunning and have an amazing body…soooo many gorgeous ladies there that did not place! It is ALL about the presentation.

Today we had a great shoot with Team Edge and Chaz photography, it was INCREDIBLE!!! I’ve never taken such awesome pix in my life!! The styling came out even better than I could dream of (my own of course, it being my profession:) and Chaz freaking killed it with the camera and the lighting! What a brilliant guy!!! Coolest of all is he’s actually a COP and guess what? I got to pose with his GUN…yep…a real gun!! Went all out on the barbwire look today, pix coming up as soon as I get the final versions!! So many good ones I honestly have a really hard time picking only a few….this has NEVER happened before, so I’m thrilled.

Goals now? Getting in even BETTER, LEANER, HOTTER shape and up on that stage and in front of that camera again ASAP. 😉

Stuffed my face with shit today so I’m totally nauseous lol, but it’s a good thing since all I want now is my fish and turkey bacon….but maybe with a lil more salt than these past 4 weeks :p That’s what I’ve missed the most!

Lots of love to all of y’all and stay fit!!! xoxoxoox

Hey everyone!!

I can’t believe we’re finally here, registration and tanning day!!! That means I’m hitting the stage with my lovely ladies TOMORROW!!! I’m soooo excited and so ready!! I’ve practiced the posing lots and lots this time as there have finally emerged some very firm guidelines to the bikini division in NPC – hoping this will give me that extra EDGE (as in my Team Edge, yes pun intended 😉 …..

Things on my to-do-list today:

*Organize my makeup and pack for tomorrow

*Go buy a robe for tanning, slippers and leg warmers for Sunday’s shoot

* Set up the makeup/hair station at my house for my hair dresser tomorrow morning

(yes I actually have a professional set at home since I used to own a makeup school)

*Scrubbing and prepping my skin for tanning later

*Packing my food for the day

*Practicing posing again and again

*Taking the last shower and getting my hair washed and prepped for the styling tmrw

*Wash my extensions

At 6 pm I’ll meet my teammates at Double Tree hotel for the athletes meeting and registration. I have to get a new NPC card on spot since mine expires today, last time I competed was exactly one year ago. Gotta remember to only bring cash as that’s all they accept. At 9:15 pm I’ll go to my tanning appointment at the same location, can not wait to get BROOOOOW like a ginger snap!! 😀 It will really enhance my physique, the suit and my blondie Pamela HAIR I’ll be getting tomorrow!! Just thinking about it makes me all tingly inside, the hairdresser I am using is AMAZING and I can really recommend her to anyone.

Marielle Hermansson in Laguna Beach, she’ll be driving all the way from OC to meet me here at 7 am in the morning. My hair dresser and corner babe!! She’s also my training client to be, can’t wait to wip that beautiful Swedish new momma into tip-top shape at my fitness club Barry’s Bootcamp in Irvine (which I am lucky to be the proud owner of).

Anyway, gotta get this day started before time runs out!! It’s 9:21 already and all I’ve managed to do is eat breakfast and have some coffee…..

xoxoxoox love y’all!Image

Welcome to my blog!!

I figured since I Facebook so freaking much, I better start blogging again!

It’s a good way to remember to write daily as well, which is something I really should be doing since I’m currently studying for an English Bachelors degree at UoL, one of the main courses being Creative Writing.

I haven’t gotten much done in that department the past 2 weeks however, since I’ve been completely immersed in my competition prep – I’m hitting the stage at NPC Excalibur this upcoming Saturday with my ladies in Team Edge!!! So stoked I can’t even explain it.

Got my nails done, my suit ready, hooker shoes and now I’m just waiting for that final peak to arrive once I cut the water tomorrow at 6 pm. That’s also when we’ll meet at the Athletes meeting and register for the competition, get to make the first impression with the judges, and get tanned with Jan Tana. Luckily I got a great appointment, 9 pm, which means I don’t have to stick around all day or go back and forth to Culver City.

I’ll be updating here with pictures and whatever comes to mind on a typical day here in LaLa land, Hollywood, where I happen to live with my darling hubby and my super cute son!

Lots of kisses!!! ❤
